At the Tabernacle of David worship surrounded an unveiled ark with the blue flame of God between the cherubim. I pondered why. When in the midst a corporate setting, as the saints offer up worship in one accord the heavens open up or the veil begins to lift and I for one encounter Jesus in very profound ways. The answer is the parallel worlds of the Spirit or heaven and the earthly come into agreement during worship, the habitation of God meets man as He inhabits the praises of His people. I have not heard this perspective from the pulpit but the Lord opened my eyes.
The words Jesus spoke; "love the Lord your God with all your heart, your mind and all your strength", is in essence speaking of abandoned worship and your brother as your self simply put brotherly love which is the result of that union of the Kingdom of God and man, as the result of that union. When we give ourselves to Him in worship and adoration we find the joy that is beyond words. He designed us that way to enter into the deep places of His heart, but you can only enter through abandonment of your own agendas. a certain willingness to leave yourself open fully to Jesus in trust of a loving God and father is paramount. He is so beautiful to behold. I would give all to experience Him fully, and pray that the church saw Him that way too!

This is what is sigificant about the tabernacle of David. In heaven we get a glimps into heavenly order through John's eyes in Rev 4. The opportunity to get a glimps of heavenly proptocol is there. The upper room and the tabernacle of mosses along with 2 Chron 7, give us templates of which God opened the hevens and visited man. It is through these heavenly patterns that God initiated we are able to look into when heaven invades earth. Man enters into agreement with heaven, "your kingdom come your will be done" and heaven answers in visitation with His presence and often so much more.
This is where visions of heavenly beings begin, or Jesus Himself opens a door and visits you. What ever the encounter whether healing of the broken hearted or Him just showing up because we have touched His heart. It really is all about our Loving him and Him recieving our love and adoration and blessing us with some spiritual blessing.
